The Clinton Maroons defeated the Maroa-Forsyth Trojans by a final score of 57-43 at home on Wednesday night in high school girls basketball action. The Trojans led by 16-14 after 8 minutes, but the following 3 quarters the Maroons outscored their opponents by a combined 16 points to put the victory away. 

The Lady Maroons were led by Lilah Cluver who led all scorers with 18. Clara Dempsey, Carly Anderson, Regan Filkin, and Avery Smith each chipped in with 9.

The Lady Trojans were led by Avery Braden and Kalli Kahler who each scored 15 points. Maggie Ravenscraft added 6. 

With the Win, the Lady Maroons improve to 17-5, while Maroa-Forsyth falls to 18-3.
