Friday night was the opening round of the Lincoln Prairie Conference tournament and Tri-County took down Argenta-Oreana 61-48 from Argenta.

A slow second half defused the Bombers who were outscored 33-15 after leading 31-18 at the half.

Damian Gude and Tyson Oros each scored 11 points to lead Argenta-Oreana.

Clay Kibler had 21 points for the Tri-County. Preston Bancroft scored 15 points and Garrett Pollack added 13 points.

Tri-County moves into the winner's bracket to take on fourth-seeded Sullivan on Saturday (Jan 25) at 12:30 pm at Arcola High School.

Argenta-Oreana will take on Blue Ridge at 5 pm Tuesday evening at Arcola Junior High School.
