Caebrin Lee returned to the Maroa-Forsyth lineup Tuesday night and provided a spark as the Trojans rolled to an easy 80-40 win over Illini Central in Sangamo Conference high school boy’s basketball action Tuesday in Mason City.
Lee scored 14 points in his return to the lineup.
The Trojans have been injury-riddled all season with injuries to start the year from the high school football state championship run then mid-season injuries to leading scorers Lee and Coby Lane.
Lane is out the rest of the season with a knee injury. Lee broke his wrist in December in practice.
Brady Doss led the Trojans with 19 points who led 40-16 at the half. Kenny Morris added 14 points while Mitch Williams chipped in with eight points.
Maroa-Forsyth goes to 9-8 overall and picks up its first Sangamo win to improve to 1-3 in league play.
The Trojans host Athens on Friday night at 7:30 pm.
