Blue Ridge downed Okaw Valley 49-38 in Lincoln Prairie Conference high school girl's basketball action in Farmer City Thursday.

Mya Laidley led the Lady Knights with 19 points. Kylie Madden added 13 points. Karlee Fenton scored seven points and Ava Paullin added six.

Blue Ridge gets its first win of the season at 1-15 overall. They are 1-5 in the Lincoln Prairie Conference. 

The Lady Knights are the 12-seed in its sub-sectional. Regional pairings are released later today (Friday). 

They host Sullivan on Monday night.
