Monticello picked up a momentous win Monday when it beat Tolono Unity 44-40 in overtime in Illini Prairie Conference high school girls basketball action at the Sievers Center.

Alie Weidner scored 13 points and four steals, three rebounds and two assists. 

Megan Allen added 12 points and grabbed six rebounds for the Lady Sages.

The Lady Sages were an impressive 13-of-17 at the foul line.

Monticello is 18-10 overall and finishes 6-3 in the Illini Prairie Conference. They will travel to Williamsville tonight.
