In a game heard on WHOW and all it's digital platforms, the Clinton Maroons attempted a third-quarter comeback that wasn't quite enough, and fell to the Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals by a final score of 60-51.
The Clinton Maroons were led by Colton Walker and Keaton Graves who both scored 16 points. Dalton Bell put up 13 points before fouling out in the third. Jaeden Bell was the Servopro of Piatt/DeWitt Counties Player of the Game, he scored 4 and boasted a great performance on defense and multiple assists.
The Cardinals were led by Kaiden Gardner who scored 18 points and passed the 1000 career points milestone. Alex Hardin added 17 while Eastyn McKenzie chipped in with 10.
With the loss, the Maroons fall to 15-12 while the Cardinals lead the Central Illinois Conference at 23-4.
