Argenta-Oreana started fast and took care of Villa Grove 68-50 in Lincoln Prairie Conference boys basketball action from Villa Grove Tuesday.

The Bombers jumped out to a 38-14 halftime lead. 

MJ Hall led all scorers with 19 points. Carter Logue scored 14 points, Damian Gude had 13 points and Tyson Oros chipped in with 12 points.

Thomas Vandervetenter had 15 points to lead Villa Grove. Lukas Shadwich added 12 points and Cooper Clark scored 11 points. 

Villa Grove is 5-17 overall and 1-7 in the Lincoln Prairie Conference. 

Argenta-Oreana is 13-11 overall and 6-2 in the Lincoln Prairie Conference. The Bombers host Okaw Valley on Friday night.
