Clinton outscored Cerro Gordo 48-14 after the first quarter en route to an easy 66-29 win Tuesday in non-conference high school girl's basketball in Cerro Gordo.

The Lady Maroons led 18-15 after one frame and pulled away.

Four players scored in double figures led by Reagan Filkin's 20 points. Carly Anderson had 14 points and Clara Dempsey and Lila Cluver each had 12 points. 

The Lady Maroons go to 24-6 overall. They host Decatur St Teresa on Thursday night for senior night and the regular season finale.
