In a game heard on WHOW and all it's digital platforms, Regan Filkin and Carly Anderson hit clutch threes to keep the Lady Maroons in the game through triple overtime, and beat the Normal U-High Pioneers by a final score of 69-65.
The Maroons were led by Carly Anderson who scored 21 points, even though she fouled out early in the final overtime frame. That earned her the title of Servpro of Piatt/DeWitt Counties player of the game. Regan Filkin scored an impressive 18 points while Lilah Cluver added 12.
The Pioneers played an impressive game as well. They were led by Kendyl Schroeder who scored 16 points. Kenzie Matejka added 14 points while Grace Groetken chipped in with 10.
With the Win, the Maroons improve to 25-7 and advance to the next round of the postseason. The Pioneers finish their season with a record of 10-21.
