Clinton Wins a Battle Against Dee-Mack

In a game heard on WHOW and all its digital platforms, The Clinton Maroons Defeated The Deer Creek-Mackinaw Chiefs by a final score of 61-55 on Monday night in the first round of the post-season.


The Maroons were led by The Serv Pro of Piatt/Dewitt Counties player of the game Colton Walker’s 21 points 13 of which came in the fourth quarter along with his clutch blocked corner three attempt in the final seconds. Keaton Graves pitched in 19 and Dalton Bell had 17. 


The Chiefs were led by 6 foot-five center Jerry Hahn’s 17 points and Coen Gilbert pitched in 14.


With the win, the Maroons move to 17-14 on the year and advance to the next round of the post-season when they face Peoria Manual on Wednesday in Tremont with tip-off being at 5:30 pm. Hear the action on WHOW and all its digital platforms.
