In a game heard on WHOW and all its digital platforms, the Clinton Maroons played strong defense through the first half but wasn't quite enough, and fell to the Peoria Manual Rams by a final score of 62-45 in the semifinal round of the Tremont Regional.
The Maroons were led by Servpro of Piatt/DeWitt Counties Player of The Game Colton Walker who scored 21 points, 11 coming in the first half. Keaton Graves added 13 points while Dalton Bell added seven.
The number one-seeded Rams were led by Amare Breedlove who put up 22 points. Joshua Humbles added 13, all of which came in the second half.
With the loss, the Maroons end their season with a record of 18-15. The Rams improve to 19-12 and move on to the Regional Championship.
