Coy Taylor scored 29 points and St. Jospeh-Ogden overcame a spirited effort by the depleted Maroa-Forsyth Trojans to escape with a 60-52 Class 2A Regional semifinal victory Wednesday night from the Meridian Regional in high school boy's basketball action.
Taylor's nine second quarter points helped St. Joe jump out to a 32-22 halftime lead after the Trojans led 16-13 through one quarter.
Caebrin Lee led the Trojans with 20 points. Kenny Morris finished with 13.
Taylor was the only Spartans player in double figures Wednesday.
Maroa-Forsyth finishes 14-15 overall.
