A big close to the game allowed Argenta-Oreana to get by Mt. Pulaski 73-62 in Class 1A high school boy's basketball Regional semifinal action from Mt. Pulaski Wednesday night. 

The Bombers held a 54-53 lead at the end of the third quarter but outscored the Hilltoppers 19-11 in the fourth.

Damian Gude led all scorers with 22 points for Argenta-Oreana. Carter Logue scored 17 points and MJ Hall added 10. 

Eric Cooper scored 19 points to lead Mt. Pulaski. Luke Martin had 13 points and Franklin Wade finished with 11 points.

Mt. Pulaski finishes its season 15-16 overall. 

Argenta-Oreana improves to 18-13. The Bombers will advance to take on top-seeded Salt Fork Friday night for the Regional Championship.
