The Clinton Junior High School girl's volleyball program won its Class 3A Regional championship Thursday night at Maroa-Forsyth Grade School.

With the win over Meridian, it is the school's first Regional Championship in volleyball in 11 years.

The girls will advance to the Sectional next week when they take on Tri-Valley at Forrest-Prairie Central at 6:30 pm.

The girls are coached by Dave Donnelly.
