Riley Fentress drove in four runs and Aliviyah Haynes was excellent in circle for Clinton as the Lady Maroons opened the 2025 spring softball season by rolling Decatur Eisenhower 14-1 in non-conference action Monday in Clinton.

Haynes struck out ten across five innings of one-run ball. 

Fentress was 2-for-3 with a stolen base and two runs scored.

Peyton McKinsey was 1-for-2 with three RBIs. Anelise Thompson was 2-for-3 with a triple and two runs scored. Heidi Humble drove in two runs and scored three times while going hitless. 

The Lady Maroons are 1-0 on the season. They will host Cerro Gordo on Wednesday.
