Bloomington jumped out in front early and Lincoln could not recover in a 7-2 season-opening loss in Bloomington Tuesday in high school boy's baseball action.
The Raiders answered an early Lincoln run to tie the game at 1-1 in the first.
Bloomington scored two in the second and three in the third to lead 6-1.
Drew Hayes was 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Railsplitters. Parker Graue finished 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Ashton Corley was 1-for-2 with a double and two runs scored.
Lincoln starts the year 0-1. They travel to Tri-Valley on Wednesday.
