Blue Ridge broke out the bats and outlasted Martinsville 10-6 in non-conference high school softball action in Martinsville Friday afternoon. 

Carsyn Stiger was 3-for-5 with a double and two RBIs. Ellie Hayward was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Lillie Enger and Addison Roos doubled for the Lady Knights.

Ellie Schleiper allowed six unearned runs on seven hits with two walks and ten strikeouts. She went 2-for-3 at the plate.

Blue Ridge improves to 1-2 overall. They host Armstrong-Potomac on Monday.
