Litchfield scored seven runs in the fifth inning and rolled past Mt. Pulaski 10-2 in non-conference high school baseball action Friday in Litchfield.

Aaron Volle hit a two-run home run to pace the Hilltoppers offensively. He was 2-for-3 with a double, a home run, and scored a run.

Eric Cooper was 2-for-3 with a walk for Mt. Pulaski.

The Hilltoppers imroves to 1-1 overall. They host Central A&M on Monday.
