Danni Hovey went the distance in a complete-game shutout of Eureka to lead Maroa-Forsyth to a 7-0 win on Saturday in Forsyth. 

Hovey struck out six, walked two, and permitted two hits. 

The Lady Trojans used a four-run second inning to create separation on Saturday. Aubrey Stewart drove in a run with a double. Maliyah Hutner singled in a run. Kalli Kahler singed in a run and Maggie Ravenscraft doubled in the final run of the frame.

Kahler finished 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI, and two runs scored. Ravenscraft was 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI, and stole a base. Steward finished 2-for-4  while Hovey drove in a run.

The Lady Trojans are 2-0 on the season. They will travel to Mt. Zion on Thursday.
