Drew Stevens and Max Heineman hit home runs and paced Normal West over Hayden (AL) 6-2 in high school baseball action from Loxley, Alabama. 

Stevens doubled in Kyle Beaty and Heineman in the first inning to put the Ironmen up 2-1. Brady Burkhart made it 3-1 with a single to left.

Heineman's homer to lead off the bottom of the third inning made the score 4-2.

Stevens' two-run homer in the bottom of the fifth scored Beaty to put the Ironmen up 6-2. 

Jacob Engel twirled 4 1/3 innings of hitless, shutout ball with eight strikeouts and issued three walks. 

Luke Klunke allowed two unearned runs with four strikeouts, three hits, and five walks to close out the win.

The Ironmen go to 2-1 overall and will resume action on Wednesday morning in Alabama.
