Ryder Coone and Chase Reinhart combined for a two-hit shutout in a 2-0 win over Brookland (AR) in high school baseball from Fairhope, Alabama.

Coone struck out three, walked two, and allowed two hits in three innings. 

Reinhart struck out seven in four hitless, shutout innings.

Two Bearcats errors scored two runs for the Wildcats in the fourth inning and the was the extent of the scoring for Normal West.

Reinhart was 1-for-3 with a stolen base.

In the second game of the afternoon, errors did in the Wildcats in a 9-2 loss to Ariton (AL) in high school baseball action from Fairhope, Alabama.

The Wildcats committed five errors, which led to five unearned runs.

Despite a tough day in the field, Chase Knuth brought in a run for Normal West. Cooper Temples was 2-for-3 with a run and a walk for the Wildcats.

The loss was Normal West's first of the season as they drop to 4-1. They will take on Gibson County (TN) on Wednesday.
