Isabella Beery homered twice in an eight-run fourth inning, and Monticello rolled Tuscola 17-0 in non-conference high school softball action Tuesday in Tuscola.
Beery homered to start the inning to make the score 10-0 then homered to cap the inning and made it 17-0.
Cassidee Stoffel drove in six runs. The junior blasted a three-run homer in the third inning to make the score 4-0. Stoffel got Monticello on the board with a sac fly to center to score Sadie Walsh in the first.
Stoffel drove in two more in the fourth with a double. She finished 3-for-4 with a double, homer, and six RBIs.
Sadie Walsh was 3-for-4 with two RBIs and three runs scored. Thea Key went 3-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored.
Stoffel struck out 11 in four innings of shutout ball. She allowed two hits and did not walk a batter.
Monticello is 4-0. They will host Meridian on Wednesday.
