Dawson Waterhouse singled in the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning and Warrensburg-Latham walked off Maroa-Forsyth 7-6 in non-conference high school baseball action from Warrensburg on Tuesday.
Grady Rose brought home the go-ahead run for the Trojans in the top half of the inning to make the score 6-5.
The two former Okaw Valley rivals went back and forth all afternoon.
Rose doubled in two in the top of the first inning, but the Cardinals got a run back in the first and tied the score when Trenton Bridges singled in a run in the third.

Warrensburg-Latham's Evan Gottman doubled in two runs in the fourth inning and Kristopher Lawson made the score 5-2 with a base hit to score Gottman.
Gunner Larner's two-run double in the top of the fifth inning brought Maroa-Forsyth within a run at 5-4 setting up the wild finish in the seventh.
Gottman was credited with the win for Warrensburg-Latham. He tossed 2 1/3 innings of two-run relief with two walks, two strikeouts, and five hits allowed.
The Cardinals are 5-1 overall. They host Decatur Unity Christian on Wednesday.
The Trojans drop to 2-3 overall. They will travel to Okaw Valley on Thursday.
