Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin scored seven unanswered runs to beat Maroa-Forsyth 7-2 in non-conference high school girl's softball action from Springfield on Wednesday. 

The Lady Trojans jumped out to a 2-0 lead thanks to a Kalli Kahler RBI ground out in the second inning then an Aubrey Steward RBI double in the third.

SHG responded to go up 3-2 in the bottom half of the frame and put the game away with a run in the fourth and three more in the fifth. 

Kahler, Steward, and Maliyah Hunter tallied the only hits for the Lady Trojans. 

They fall to 3-1 overall. They will travel to Mt. Zion on Thursday.
