Monticello got contributions up and down the lineup as Monticello rolled Meridian 13-3 in non-conference high school softball action Wednesday in Monticello.

Avery Schweitzer drove in three and went 2-for-3 with a run scored in the win. After a two-homer day Tuesday, Isabella Beery followed it up going 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored. 

Cassidee Stoffel had six RBIs on Tuesday. She went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI on Wednesday. Madison Highland and Sadie Walsh each drove in two for the Lady Sages, while Ali Weidner and Ashley Stiverson each drove in runs.

Monticello jumped out to an 8-0 in the first three innings. 

Meridian cut it to 8-3 after five, but Monticello scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning,g and Walsh's sac fly to center ended the game by run-rule.

Monticello goes to 5-0 overall. They will host Decatur Eisenhower on Friday.
