A seven-run third inning propelled Normal West to a five-inning, 11-1 run-rule win over Gibson County (TN) in high school baseball action from the Gulf Shores in Alabama on Wednesday.

In the seven run third, Sam McCully singled in two, Chase Reinhart doubled in two more, and Cooper Temples singed in two runs. 

Brady Pollet was the only hitter in the Wildcasts lineup to tally multiple hits, finishing 2-for-3 with three RBIs. Temples was 1-for-1 working a walk, driving in two, and stole a base. 

McCully was 1-for-1 with two RBIs and drew a pair of walks. Sean Jenkins scored twice and stole two bases for Normal West.

The Wildcats improve to 5-1 overall. They finish out their Alabama spring break trip with a noon game today.
