Monticello made easy work of Decatur Eisenhower in an 18-1, four inning, run-rule romp on Friday afternoon in high school softball action from Decatur.

Avery Schweitzer continued her hot hitting, going 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs. Isabella Beery remained hot during a big week, going 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs.

Madison Highland and Thea Key both doubled and drove in two in the win. 

Ali Weidner, Ashley Stiverson, and Sadie Walsh all drove in runs for the Lady Sages.

Monticello has won six straight to start the season and will host Charleston on Saturday.
