Tuscola outlasted Argenta-Oreana 8-7 in eight innings in a high school softball thriller on Monday from Argenta.
Gracie Manning drove in five runs for the Lady Bombers, finishing 3-for-5 with a two-run home run in the fourth inning that broke a 2-2 tie. Elyssa Armstrong was 1-for-4 with a double and two runs scored.
Brynn Jones and Pyper Jones drove in runs for Argenta-Oreana.
After Manning's two-run homer to give the Lady Bombers the lead in the fourth, Tuscola tied the score with runs in the top of the fifth.
The Lady Bombers would go up 6-4 after two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning.
The Lady Warriors answered with three runs in the top of the seventh inning to lead 7-6.
Brynn Jones' RBI single in the bottom of the seventh inning tied the game at seven for Argenta-Oreana.
Kinzie Cleland gave the Lady Warriors the lead for good in the top of the eighth with an RBI single.
Argenta-Oreana falls to 0-5 on the season. They will host Warrensburg-Latham on Tuesday.
