MJ Hall struck out more batters but took the tough luck loss to Tuscola 2-1 on Monday afternoon in non-conference high school baseball action in Tuscola.
Hall surrendered two runs in the first inning, but the Bombers could not solve the Warriors.
Jaxon Finch's sac-fly in the top of the first inning scored the only run for Argenta-Oreana.
Hall finished six innings, allowing two runs on five hits with eight strikeouts and issued two walks.
Kharsen West was 2-for-3 for the Bombers. Hall, Carter Logue, Ashton Sample, and Lucas Camfiled also recorded hits.
Argenta-Oreana drops to 3-2. They will host Taylorville on Tuesday.
