HS Baseball: Clinton Shuts Out Sullivan

In a game heard on WHOW and all its digital platforms, the Clinton Maroons shut out the Sullivan Redskins 8-0 in seven innings of non-conference high school softball action on Tuesday night in Clinton. 

 

The Maroons were led by Colton Walker, who went two for three, scored two runs, and had an RBI. Josh Bass was two for four and scored and had an RBI, while Ryan Pine and Jaxon Reynolds both had a hit and a run. 

 

Jack Manning was the Servpro of Piatt/DeWitt Counties player of the game, he went one for four with two RBIs. He allowed one hit and struck out three in three and one third innings. 

 

The Redskins were led by Gavin Wade, Tristan Wright and Fallon Rose who all had a hit. 

 

Wright allowed four hits and two runs in two innings of relief. He struck out five and issued one walk. 

 

With the win, the Maroons improve to 3-3 while the Redskins fall to 1-5. 

 

Tune in on April 8th when the Maroons take on Meridian in High School Softball action, first pitch is at 4:30.
