Warrensburg-Latham miscues allowed Argenta-Oreana to take down Warrensburg-Latham 11-6 in non-conference high school softball action on Tuesday in Argenta.
The Lady Cardinals jumped out in front 6-5 with a four-run fifth inning. But a hit batter with the bases loaded tied the game. A fielder's choice allowed the go-ahead run to come across, and Grace Manning reached on an error that scored two more for the Lady Bombers.
Kharma Giles homer in the sixth inning put the Lady Bombers up 11-6.
Giles led Argenta-Oreana going 3-for-3 with three RBIs and three runs scored.
Manning finished 0-for-2 but drove in two runs. Elyssa Armstrong drove in two runs for the Lady Bombers.
The win for Argenta-Oreana was its first on the season as they go to 1-5. They will open Lincoln Prairie Conference action on Monday when they visit Broadlands-Heritage.
