Sullivan jumped out to a 6-1 lead and held on for a 6-3 win over Clinton in non-conference high school softball action on Tuesday in Sullivan. 

Avery Smith was 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI to lead Clinton. Hadley Humble was 1-for-4 with an RBI.

Clinton is 2-3 overall. They travel to Shelbyville on Thursday to open Central Illinois Conference action.
