Normal Community outlasted Bartlett 7-1 in non-conference high school baseball action from the Corn Crib in Normal on Thursday. 

Gavin Swartz struck out nine across five innings of one-run ball for the Ironmen. Max Heineman drove in two and was 2-for-4. Andrew Naour finished 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. 

Tyce Beckman added a two-run, pinch-hit double for Normal Community, and Gavin Michaels doubled in a run. 

The Ironmen are 5-3 overall. They travel to Danville this afternoon.
