Argenta-Oreana made easy work of Broadlands-Heritage 23-2 in a run-rule, five-inning win romp Tuesday in high school softball action from Broadlands on Monday.

Kharma Giles paced a balanced Lady Bombers attack, finishing 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs. Gracie Manning finished 2-for-3 with a triple, two RBIs, and two stolen bases. 

Brynn Jones, Piper Jones, and Elyssa Armstrong each drove in two for Argenta-Oreana. Emmy Reynolds and Lily Manning drove in runs as well.

Lily Manning allowed two runs in four innings with five strikeouts and permitted four hits while issuing three walks.

The Lady Bombers are 2-5 overall. They will travel to Tri-City to take on Tri-City/Sangamon Valley on Tuesday.
