A nine run second inning did in Lincoln in a 14-4, five-inning, run-rule loss to Rochester in Central State Eight high school baseball action on Tuesday in Lincoln.
Lincoln led 1-0 after a run in the first, but the Rockets would score 14 of the next 16 runs to pull out the easy win.
Ashton Corley and Parker Graue had two hits apiece, while Drew Hayes drove in two runs for the Railsplitters.
Lincoln is 3-7 overall and 1-3 in the CS8. They will host Chatham-Glenwood on Wednesday.
