Lincoln started slow and could not recover as they fell 6-4 to Limestone in non-conference high school baseball action on Friday in Lincoln.
Limestone jumped out to a 5-1 lead. The Railsplitters added single runs in the fifth, sixth, and seventh innings but could not come all the way back.
Austin Lucas, Ashton Corley, Drew Hayes, and Jadyn Gulley each had two hits. Gulley had two RBIs, while Corley hit a triple among his two hits.
Parker Graue went 6 2/3 innings, allowing six runs (three were earned) on nine hits with six strikeouts.
The Railsplitters fall to 3-9 overall. They will host Prairie Central for a twin bill on Saturday.
