Heyworth answered a six-run inning from Fisher, but could not rally again as the Lady Bunnies beat the Lady Hornets 9-6 in Heart of Illinois Conference high school softball action Wednesday in Fisher. 

The Lady Bunnies exploded for six runs in the bottom of the fourth inning. The Lady Hornets broke through and answered with six of their own in the top of the fifth. Gracie Streenz two-run homer tied the game at 6-6. 

Fisher got two back in the bottom of the fifth and added an insurance run in the sixth.

Streenz was 2-for-4 with her two-run home run. Natalie Kopp was 1-for-4 with two RBIs for the Lady Hornets. 

Heyworth drops to 3-7 overall. They are 0-3 in the Heart of Illinois. They travel to Warrensburg-Latham on Thursday.
