HS Baseball: Normal Community Blanks Champaign Centennial

Three pitchers combined to shut out Champaign Centennial 6-0 as Normal Community completed its sweep of Centennial in Big 12 Conference high school baseball in Champaign on Wednesday. 

 

Drew Stevens, Brady Burkhart, Gavin Swartz, and Andrew Naour drove in runs for the Ironmen, who did not record an extra base hit in the game.

 

Swartz was 2-for-4 to lead Normal Community. Gavin Michaels, Kyle Beaty, and Naour had stolen bases in the win. 

 

Normal Community remains unbeaten in Big 12 play at 8-0. They are 11-3 overall. They host Bradley-Bourbonnais on Saturday.
