Mt. Pulaski rolled to an easy 14-1 win over Midwest Central on Thursday in Tomahawk Conference high school baseball action in Manteno.
Chance Payne paced the Hilltoppers, going 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs. Luke Markin was 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Liam Smigh was 1-for-4 with a double.
The Hilltoppers had 11 hits on its 14 runs.
Aaron Volle struck out eight in six innings of one-run ball.
Mt. Pulaski has won nine in a row to move to 10-2 overall and 2-0 in the Tomahawk Conference. They host Lexington on Saturday morning.
