Ellie Schleiper twirled a complete game, five-hit shutout on Friday, leading Blue Ridge to a 5-0 win over Oakland/Tri-County in Lincoln Prairie Conference high school softball action in Hume. 

Schleiper struck out 14 and walked just one. 

Addison Roos was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs for the Lady Knights. Karleigh Fenton added an RBI double.

Blue Ridge improves to 5-7 overall and gets its first Lincoln Prairie win to go to 1-3 in league play. The Lady Knights will host Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond on Monday.
