Timera Blackburn-Kelley twirled a complete game shutout and St. Joseph-Ogden beat Maroa-Forsyth on Monday in non-conference high school softball action in St. Joseph.
Blackburn-Kelley allowed just four hits and struck out four.
The Lady Spartans scored a run in the second inning before adding two runs in both the third and fourth innings.
Blackburn-Kelley also went 2-for-3 with a home run, a triple, and three RBIs. Kenzie Atwood added two hits while Thea Smith had an RBI for the Lady Spartans.
For the Lady Trojans, Adelyn Simmons had a perfect day at the plate, going 3-for-3.
Maroa-Forsyth is 9-6 overall. St. Joseph-Ogden goes to 16-7. The Lady Trojans host Olympia on Tuesday.
