Olympia Spartans shut out Maroa-Forsyth 8-0 in Sangamo Conference high school softball action on Tuesday from Forsyth. 

The Lady Spartans scored two runs in the first inning and four in the second, securing a comfortable lead. 

The Lady Trojans managed just five total hits in the game. Adelyn Simmons had two hits.

Maroa-Forsyth drops to 9-7 overall and 3-3 in the Sangamo Conference. They visit Auburn on Thursday.
