Tyler Swanson was steady on the mound, helping Normal Community roll to an 11-0 win over Urbana in Big 12 Conference high school baseball on Friday in Urbana.

In the bottom of the first inning, Andrew Naour delivered a double to left field, scoring Gavin Michaels around to score and giving the Ironmen a 4-0 lead.

The Ironmen then broke the game open in the bottom of the second, highlighted by a Gavin Borne double to left field, scoring Michaels and Brady Burkhart to make it 10-0.

Swanson pitched effectively for the Ironmen, allowing just three hits over five innings to earn the win.

Normal Community goes to 19-4 overall and 12-1 in the Big 12 Conference. They will host Moline for a doubleheader on Saturday.
