Argenta-Oreana scored nine runs in the fourth inning and rolled to a 16-2 win over Villa Grove in 16-2 in Lincoln Prairie Conference high school softball action from Argenta.

Elyssa Armstrong led the Lady Bombers going 2-for-3 with a triple and four RBIs. Emmy Reynolds was 3-for-4 and drove in one run. Sophia Wicklund finished 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Pyper Jones went 3-for-3 with an RBI, while Kharma Giles also drove in a run. Angelina Madrigal added two hits.

Armstrong earned the win, twirling five innings and allowing just two runs - one was earned - on five hits, while striking out seven.

The Lady Bombers go to 13-11 overall and 9-0 in the Lincoln Prairie Conference.  The visit Arcola on Monday.
