Normal West made quick, easy work of Danville in a 16-0 in Big 12 Conference high school baseball action Thursday in Danville.

Torin DeLaere led the Wildcats going 3-for-3 with a triple, an RBI, and three runs scored. Drew Hart drove in two while Sam McCully went 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Gage Flairty scored three runs, and Cooper Temples scored twice. 

On the mound, Sam McCully fired three hitless innings and struck out six. Reagan Williams followed with two scoreless innings, striking out three.

Normal West improves to 18-9 overall and 12-3 in the Big 12. They host Peoria Notre Dame on Friday. The Wildcats beat PND 13-5 on Wednesday.
