Fisher took down Blue Ridge 8-4 in non-conference high school softball action from Fisher on Monday.

Presley Hardesty hit a solo home run in the third for the Lady Knights, getting them on the board. But Blue Ridge struggled to string together hits, managing only five in the game. 

Hardesty was 1-for-3 with a home run while Macy Laidley went 2-for-2.

Ellie Schleiper pitched for Blue Ridge, going six innings, allowing eight runs - six earned - on four hits, striking out six and walking six.

With the loss, Blue Ridge drops to 11-10 overall. They will host Sullivan on Tuesday.
