Argenta-Oreana answered a grand slam by Okaw Valley, but the Timberwolves answered the Bombers' four runs with another four-run frame for an 8-4 win in Lincoln Prairie Conference high school baseball action on Monday in Bethany.
Daulton Vanausdoll hit a grand slam in the bottom of the second inning.
The Bombers were able to get all four back in its half of the third but the Timberwolves responded with another four, and blanked the Bombers the rest of the way.
MJ Hall was touched up for eight runs, four were earned, over three innings for Argenta-Oreana. He was also 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Landon Jackson, Kharsen West, and Lucas Camfield drove in runs for the Bombers in their four-run third.
Carter Logue was 2-for-3 with a triple for Argenta-Oreana.
The Bombers are 12-9 overall and 7-2 in the Lincoln Prairie Conference. They visit Warrensburg-Latham on Tuesday.
