Eureka rolled to an easy 14-2, ten-run rule win over Clinton on Wednesday in non-conference high school softball action from Clinton.

The Lady Maroons scored in the bottom of the first inning when Hadley Humble singled to left, scoring Anelise Thompson.

Clinton added another run in the bottom of the second inning when Anelise Thompson flew out to center field, allowing Adrianna Casarez to score.

Humble was 1-for-2 with an RBI. Anelise Thompson finished 1-for-3 for the Lady Maroons. 

Clinton drops to 5-16 overall. Wednesday was the regular season finale for the Lady Maroons. They will take on Maroa-Forsyth in Regional quarterfinal action on Monday in Forsyth. Hear the action on WHOW and all its digital platforms.
