Colton Vance's home run was all the offense Monticello could muster, and Champaign Central downed the Sages 5-1 in non-conference high school baseball action on Thursday in Monticello.

Carter Foran, Eli Craft, and Grant Kiger each added one hit for the Sages.

Monticello falls to 25-6 overall. They will take on Mt. Pulaski on Monday in a final tune-up game before Regional action begins next week.
