Sidney Ditchen drove in four runs and Gabbie Dow twirled four hitless innings as Heyworth made easy work of Blue Ridge 15-0 in Class 1A Regional quarterfinal high school softball action on Monday in Heyworth.

The Lady Hornets scored ten runs in the second inning to break the game open. 

Ditchen was 2-for-2 with a double and four RBIs to lead Heyworth. Natalie Kopp drove in two while Emily Rogers was 1-for-2 with a double and two runs batted in.

Grace Streenz and Ellasyn Loudenburg drove in runs for the Lady Hornets. 

Dow struck out six in four hitless innings in circle for Heyworth.

Blue Ridge finishes its season 13-12 overall. 

Heyworth advances to take on top-seeded LeRoy tomorrow (Tuesday) in LeRoy.
